About Me!

Tianna Vanderwey- MSW, LSWAIC

Hello! I use a trauma-focused lens to help people process their trauma and rebuild a sense of safety, stability, and empowerment. I specialize in anxiety and depression and have extensive history working with individuals who have experienced childhood trauma & interpersonal violence, as well as those who struggle navigating interpersonal relationships. I strive to help guide individuals in transforming their inner dialogue, feeling more connected to themselves and others, and building lasting resilience!

Healing is a deeply personal and transformative journey. I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel seen and supported. I use a trauma-informed lens in my practice and use tools from Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Solutions-focused Brief Therapy. The name Healing Hearth Counseling draws inspiration from the hearth—a symbol of warmth, safety, and connection. The hearth is the center of the home- a place where people gather for comfort, nourishment, and shared stories. Healing happens in the presence of empathy and human connection, not in isolation- just as the hearth has long been a place where people gather to find warmth and belonging, this practice serves to be a space where you can feel unconditionally supported, seen, and heard. You’re invited to bring your whole self knowing that healing doesn’t have to happen alone—it happens in relationship, in community and around the “hearth” of shared understanding.
